No illegal use. You may not use Nullcord to facilitate illegal activity, harassment, distribution of illegal content, or any activity prohibited by applicable law.
No warranty. This software is provided as-is with no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Zero server knowledge. Your messages are end-to-end encrypted. Nullcord servers cannot read your communications and are not liable for the content you transmit.
Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for keeping your identity key secure. Lost keys cannot be recovered.

nullcord is a browser-based anonymous messaging platform. all cryptography runs entirely in your browser. the server never sees your messages, your identity, your contacts, or any content you send or receive. we have zero knowledge of your communications — this is a technical guarantee, not a policy.
no accounts are created when you use nullcord. no usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, or personal details are ever collected or stored. your identity keypair is generated locally in your browser and never leaves your device in any recoverable form.
messages pass through the server encrypted in onion-routed form and are discarded immediately after delivery. there is no message history, no logs, no backups. once your identity expires or is wiped, the data is gone permanently — we cannot retrieve it.
because we store nothing, we cannot recover lost identities, messages, contacts, or groups under any circumstances. if you wipe your identity or lose your key, there is no support ticket, no account recovery, and no backup. this is by design.
we are technically unable to comply with any request for user data, message content, or identity information — because none of it exists on our servers. we do not know who our users are. we do not have their messages. we do not have their keys.
if we receive a subpoena, court order, or law enforcement request demanding user data, the honest answer is the same regardless of jurisdiction: there is nothing to hand over. we will not respond to legal requests claiming otherwise.

to the maximum extent permitted by law, nullcord and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use this service. you use nullcord entirely at your own risk.
